An extensive internet disruption has affected many websites and mobile apps worldwide, with users experiencing troubles accessing the internet after problems at the web hosting platform.

The affected services include Snapchat, Roblox, Signal, and the language learning app Duolingo, as well as several Amazon-operated platforms including its primary shopping platform and the Ring doorbell doorbell company.

Across the United Kingdom, Lloyds bank was impacted as well as its branches the bank Halifax and Bank of Scotland, while there were also reports of problems using the HM Revenue and Customs site on the start of the week.
